Welcome To World Of Blizzard

Welcome to the World Of Blizzard Blog!

This blog is devoted to all things Blizzard. Today will be an introduction to the blog, which may not be the most exciting or entertaining but it will be a brief background on my experience with the vast game empire that is Blizzard.

I have been playing blizzard games for 4 years now. I started my Blizzard addiction with World of Warcraft, when it was nearing the end of the Burning Crusade expansion. Then I was introduced to both Starcraft Brood war and Diablo II, and could not get enough. Now to tell the truth I was never very good at either of the games but I enjoyed them for what it is worth.

When the expansion Wrath of the Lich King came around for World of Warcraft I was what the WoW World would call a hardcore raider and was throughout the expansion, eventually killing the final boss (The Lich King Himself) on hardmode.

Then came Starcraft 2 as well as the 3rd Expansion for World of Warcraft, Cataclysm. My Starcraft 2 experience has been much different than my Starcraft 1. As I stated earlier when playing starcraft 1 I would rarely understand why, and move on to my next game. But when I began playing starcraft 2, I was watching my replays, researching build orders, and watching pro league games. Which eventually lead me to be a high diamond player in 1v1 ladders, as well as all team match-ups. I still am maintaining my diamond level placement as of the beginning of season 3.

Cataclysm was another story, when Cata hit, I raced to 85 along with the other millions of players who purchased Cataclysm on launch day. And reached 85 within a few days. Then as my luck would have it,  my guild (Which was a group of real life friends) decided they needed a holy paladin. As a Co Guild Master I decided I would be the one to do the 80-85 grind that I had just completed only a couple days earlier. Eventually I got there for the second time and enjoyed raiding Bastion of Twilight and Blackwing Descent for a couple months, took a break, came back to raid firelands for 2 weeks, then lost my passion for the game again and let my subscription run out. My characters currently sit inactive with over 300k gold on collectively(I was a big fan of playing the auction house and the likeness it had to the real world economy), waiting for the day when I return to the game.

As of right now I am only playing Starcraft 2 but still keeping up to date with all things Blizzard related, anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Heart of the Swarm expansion for SC2. And chances are I will be returning to WoW in the near future.

Thanks for reading, don't forget to subscribe, there will be many more interesting posts to come!
